The Federal Court of Detroit is a subsidiary of the Federal Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The Detroit Federal Court is considered to be the main federal court for the Eastern half of the lower peninsula of Michigan. Most of the Eastern District’s Federal Judges are headquartered here and the building itself contains floors of courtrooms, built for complex federal trials.

The Detroit Federal Court’s History as the Most Important Court in Michigan

Walking into the Detroit Federal Court, officially known as the Theodore Levin United States Courthouse, one can almost feel the history and the importance of this building. Built in 1934, the Court has seen its fair share of epic federal criminal trials, many of those tried by our lawyers. Some of our more notable trials there include the Young Boys, Bounty Hunter Bloods, and the Playboy Gangster Crips.

Practicing Federal Criminal Defense Attorneys in the Detroit Federal Court

We love the Detroit Federal Court. The Judges are universally fair and appreciate our aggressive legal tactics. These Federal Judges respect criminal lawyers who work hard and push the envelope for their clients. On the opposite side, they very much look down on lawyers who don’t know what they are doing or are too lazy to fight for their clients. If you want a federal criminal lawyer in Detroit who fights for you like he’s fighting for his family, call us today.
